The Guernsey Boatowners Association (GBA) is launching a project aimed at safety at sea specifically involving the servicing of life-jackets or purchasing a replacement.
If you own a sea-going vessel of any description from a yacht or power boat to a kayak or paddle-board, the most important item you should buy is a life-jacket.
This offer is only open to current GBA members on the presentation of their 2026 membership cards and available from either AB MARINE LTD or MARINE & GENERAL ( M&G) chandleries.
Both of these outlets are offering a 20% discount off new life-jackets and AB Marine, who are the only local certified servicing agent, will also offer a 50% discount off the servicing cost of any life-jacket under 10yrs old.
The funding of this very attractive offer is split between the individual chandlery and our GBA Benevolent Fund.
Nick Guillemette, President of the GBA, stated:
