The voice of Guernsey Boatowners!
The GBA is the voice of Bailiwick marine users and encourages, promotes and protects the interests of the Bailiwick of Guernsey’s boatowners and users by:
- providing members with information, advice, and assistance on matters connected with boating,
- monitoring changes in local laws and regulations affecting boatowners and informing members of any relevant change,
- representing the interest of members at any meetings called to discuss these proposed changes,
- arranging lectures, discussions, navigation trips and other meetings that may be of interest to members,
- negotiating members’ discounts, benefits and privileges with selected chandlers and other trade outlets and
- providing support on a regular basis to local organisations involved in search and rescue services for the boating fraternity, such as the RNLI, The Channel Islands Airsearch and Rescue and the St. John’s Ambulance Organisation.
