NOTICE FROM GUERNSEY HARBOURS: COVID-19 – Visiting Vessels Arriving From Outside of the Bailiwick in Phase 5c
When travelling to the Bailiwick, whether arriving from a Category 1, 2, 3 or 4 country or region, you will need to create a Travel Tracker account. This includes travellers who have been given an exemption. The link to the Travel Tracker and associated information can be found here: https://covid19.gov.gg/guidance/travel/traveltracker
Anyone aged 18 and over, and children aged between 12 and 17 who are travelling unaccompanied, must create their own account.
Children aged 17 and under who are travelling with an adult, should be included within their account. Children under the age of 12 will not be tested on arrival, but will have a test on Day 7 if applicable.
If you are travelling as a family or group, children can only be registered on one adult’s account.
Once you have an account, you will be able to register your journey(s) and your self-administered test(s) on arrival. A journey cannot be registered until 2 calendar days before you are due to arrive in the Bailiwick.
In addition to registering for the Travel Tracker you must provide details of your journey along with your travel history for the 7 days prior to arrival. On arrival you will undertake a supervised self-swab for COVID-19 (Supervised by the Guernsey Border Agency) and issued with your self-isolation requirements determined by your travel history.
Please note that there is limited isolation capacity in the Victoria (visitor’s) Marina for self-isolation and visitors may instead be accommodated on an isolation pontoon in the main harbour (note there is no electricity or fresh water on that pontoon)
You must advise Guernsey VTS (VHF Ch.12) of your planned arrival before you enter the harbour approaches.
